Awujo Studio was created by Keron Nelson, a 24 year old self-taught artist from Trinidad who proudly display
s his personality through his art mediums in every way possible. While being a university student in the year 2016, he merged his love for art and fashion which he developed from a very young age, becoming one of the very few sneaker artists from his region.
With the increasing demand for his custom sneakers, Keron turned his passion into a successful business which he officially registered in 2019, under the label Awujo Studio. He conveys that Awujo is a Yoruban word that translates to society in English, a word he always favored for his brand.
By expanding his art to apparel, accessories, blank canvases, and even writing his own short story, Keron Nelson strives to display his creativity as much as possible to amass knowledge and skills to make it in the industry.
